Pearl Health Group is a consolidator in the General Practice Medical Services industry in Australia.
Conceptualised in 2021 from the personal experiences of the founder and principal:
“In 2013 my mother was diagnosed with a chronic brain condition – Chiari malformation. She experienced several years prior where her symptoms went misdiagnosed or dismissed by various doctors. Since that time my mother’s frustrations continue when explaining her condition and needs within the health care system.”
Given the expected increases in Australia’s chronic diseases and ageing population in the future, we believe having up to date collaboration between all stakeholders in primary health care is vital.
Our vision is to be the leading operator of medical centres in Australia, known for our integrity and innovation in primary care.
We support our well established local centres in collaboratively providing a personalised customer care experience for their patients. Communication is enhanced by utilising the latest technology to manage appointments, empower patients and to monitor health remotely.

Wayne is the Managing Director of Basford Consulting. Wayne is highly qualified and experienced in delivering both technical expertise and thought leadership to a national and international audience. Wayne has over 25 years’ experience in audit and advisory services. He has worked with major global accountancy firms across three continents, developing extensive experience with large, multinational audits (particularly cross border listings in China).
Simon is a lawyer and a Partner in the Corporate Division of Squire Patton Boggs (AU). Simon has broad experience in equity capital markets, public and private M&A (including takeovers and schemes of arrangement) and corporate advisory in both Australia and the UK. Simon is also an expert in corporate governance and regularly presents on corporate governance issues.
Stephen is currently the CEO of Apollo Care Pty Ltd. Previously, Stephen was the CEO of Appellon Pty Ltd, formerly Pulse Australasia, a Technology start-up that has produced the world’s first Digital SaaS platform that measures, monitors and influences the culture of organisations. The platform is currently being taken to market Globally. Prior to Appellon, Stephen was CEO of the Bethanie Group, one of WA’s largest NFP providers of aged care services, including residential aged care. Under his leadership Bethanie achieved top-tier standards of performance.
Damien is leading a venture in primary healthcare with a strong passion to make a massive positive impact. Damien has assembled a world class team comprised of industry leaders of high integrity, who possess extensive industry experience and are highly skilled to guide Pearl Health Group.
